Flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival ....
The 2009 Flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival was a great success on Saturday and Sunday, 24th and 25th October.
Gino D'Acampo gave six enthralling demonstrations in the Celebrity Food Pavilion and there were over 70 independent food & drink producers in the Food Pavilion who rear, grow or make food with taste. The Farmers' Market piled their tables high with the best of local fruit and vegetables, jams and pickles. The cookery presentations in the Food Theatre ranged from Coffee and Cakes with Victoria O'Neill to the fine art of filleting fish in 'Excellence in Seafood' , not to mention tastings and talks in The Cider Press. Lots of fun for children at Panic Circus in the red, blue and yellow striped tent and the young at heart everywhere.
The very best news is that it will all happen again next year on the 23rd and 24th October, 2010. Schedule the dates in your diary now and we'll keep you posted on the programme as it develops here.
