The Waterworks Museum - Hereford
The Waterworks Museum - Hereford is a 150-year time-capsule of working machinery and social history which tells the story of drinking water supplies. The range of engines and pumps on display is unique and some of the machines are the last examples of their kind working anywhere in the world. . The treasure of the collection is the oldest working triple-expansion steam engine in the U K. It stands two-floors high and is quite awesome in operation.
The Museum is open on Tuesdays and is in-steam with engines working on 18 days during the summer season but also welcomes group visits and school visits (by prior arrangement) throughout the year. Group prices are governed by the size of the group. School visits are free of charge.
Easy parking, visitor centre, refreshments, picnic tables, souvenirs, children's trails and disabled access.

Open in-steam on 2nd and last Sundays in the month, April to October, plus Easter, Spring and Summer Holiday Sundays and Mondays, 13.00 - 16.00
