Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre

Set amid the most glorious environment, a wonderful collection of miniature rare and unusual animals and birds displayed to encourage the 'hands on' experience. Spectacular owls from around the world are housed in a unique garden setting. Tea room-Gift shop-picnic facilities

The main display field planted with trees and shrubs is framed by mature oaks and centuries old hedging. This is home to seven breeds of goat including the very popular and ever mischievous pygmy goats, Dexter cattle, alpacas and the world's smallest breed of sheep, the very rare Ouessant. The miniature horses and donkeys frequently featured on television over the past few years are particular favourites.

The Owl Centre houses the finest display of owls in the United Kingdom. Thoughtfully designed and planted in order to create an intimate garden setting. This allows the visitor a rare opportunity to observe all the British owls as well as many more spectacular examples from around the world.

The Pet Animal House displays guinea pigs, mice, chinchillas, rabbits and chipmunks whose antics entertain and fascinate both children and adults alike.

The landscaped waterfowl enclosure is spanned by a raised board walk from which can be viewed some of the worlds most delightful ducks, geese and swans.

'Millennium Dome' and 'Folly Flights' house a superb collection of the world's most colourful pheasants, unusual breeds of bantam and doves. This is also home to the ever expanding family of red squirrels.

During winter months and in very wet weather most animals are displayed under cover
