The gardens extend over 50 acres, with more than 4000 rare shrubs and trees. Spring bulbs to autumn colours, a garden for all seasons. Old fashioned kitchen garden, spring and summer borders, roses. With over 60 champion trees and shrubs in one of the finest collections in the British Isles. National collections of birches, maples and zelkovas. Rhododendrons up to 30 ft. Rare plant sales, tearoom, gifts.

Spring Flower Fair - on Monday, 1st May, with rare plant auction and other events in aid of charity.
Autumn Plant Fair - on Sunday, 15th October.
