Come and get close up to archaeology at Hereford Cathedral! What Lies Beneath? is the culmination of a year's research into discoveries made during recent restoration work on St John’s Walk. The project unearthed some surprising stories and fascinating artefacts. Human bones were also discovered, and some of these will be on display, giving insights into some of the diseases which affected our ancestors, and are still experienced today.
