Fri 25 May - Sun 1 Jul The Anthony Collier Collection of Modern Art

This is rather special exhibition: we will be displaying Professor Anthony Collier’s magnificent collection of British modern art, which his assures will provide you with “a taste of the Tate at Bleddfa”.

The exhibition will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 25th May until 1st July, 11am – 5pm (and Bank Holiday Monday on 28th May). Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see impressive works by well-known artists who are represented in the Tate Gallery, in a beautiful gallery space tucked away on the borders of Powys, Herefordshire and Shropshire.

Throughout the first weekend of this exhibition (Friday 25th – Monday 28th May), we will also exhibiting a short experimental film, Mindwalks, which will explore the concept of walking through the landscape in our mind when we are no longer able to walk physically. Mindwalks is a collaborative project between Anthony Collier, an artist physically disabled by MND and Kate Green, a non disabled artist.

Represented artists include: William Turnball, Richard Smith, Robyn Denny, David Nash, Richard Long, and many more.
