Visit Herefordshire & The Wye Valley

Winter Welcomes in Herefordshire

We can't wait to welcome you to Herefordshire and look forward to seeing you once the national lockdown restrictions are eased in the spring.

We are grateful to everyone for staying at home during the current Covid-19 pandemic. As soon as things have turned a corner then you are warmly invited to escape here for a walk and the chance to savour our fresh air.

Visit our Winter Welcomes website to help you plan a spring break. Come for a roam in our wild landscapes, wander through our age-old woodlands and trek along our riverside trails. We've designed ten circular walking routes, each featuring a fabulous country pub. We guarantee that the seasonal food, not to mention the locally brewed cider and beer, will be well worth the wait. Other superlative socially-distanced activities on offer here include wild swimming, misty morning horse rides and overnight cocooning through to llama trekking, foraging and canoeing.

Or if you would prefer to potter, our beautiful market towns will be the perfect place for a mooch, each with their eclectic array of independent shops.

We're currently working on a brand new web site which will showcase everything Herefordshire has to offer. It will be a place to plot and plan your future travels. Spring's delights will include the best Bluebell Wood Walks and beautiful Blossomtime, which celebrates the apple orchards in blossom and is something everyone should see at least once.
