The Bell at Yarpole

The Bell at Yarpole

The Bell at Yarpole is a community-owned pub bought by local residents in September 2018.

The Bell was reopened in 2020 by tenants, Dom and Nick. Dom and Nick are both keen gardeners and love to experiment with new recipes, It's all about local, home-grown and beautiful food!

The ancient building, dating back to the seventeenth century, has been extensively renovated and sits in about 3/4 of an acre of pasture in the heart of the village. The pub itself is connected to the original cider barn which would have produced the refreshment from the many orchards in the area.

Large beer gardens to the front, side and rear make The Bell at Yarpole the perfect stopover for walkers, bikers and riders to chill out and soak up the atmosphere. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome in our bar and garden and water is provided for our four-legged friends.

The Bell at Yarpole Recommends

We have a wonderful church that has a 12th century detached bell tower, which is the oldest timber building in England!
