Breese Barns

Breese Barns is situated in the heart of Herefordshire’s glorious Golden Valley. Peacefully tucked away on the edge of the village of Dorstone and just 5 miles from the famous “booktown” of Hay-On-Wye, Breese Barns is ideally situated to explore this breathtaking part of the country. The Black Mountains are on our doorstep and there are wonderful walking opportunities from the front door.  Alternatively, just kick back, relax and enjoy the seclusion, peace and tranquillity this beautiful little corner of the world provides.

Our property offers both bed and breakfast accommodation alongside Hodson’s House, our self-catering holiday cottage, which is situated within the extensive grounds.

Our bed and breakfast rooms offer unrivalled space and comfort. More akin to suites the rooms have space enough for sofas and armchairs to relax and kick back in while reading or watching TV. Each room has its own private bathroom and is equipped with a small fridge. We have many guests who return time and again to explore the area safe in the knowledge that should the weather be against them, their room at Breese Barns is the perfect, relaxing place to let the day slip by.

Likewise, Hodson's House, our self-catering property that sleeps 4, offers peace, tranquillity and privacy at the highest levels of comfort. Guests have sole use of our enclosed orchard which at one-third of an acre is particularly popular with the numerous dog owners we welcome every year.
