Caring For The Planet

We're passionate about the environment and our impact on it. Herefordshire is proud to boast some of the richest red soil in the world, which is ideal for growing potatoes. We grow King Edward, Lady Claire and Lady Rosetta potatoes for our range of vodkas and gins, allowing us to oversee the whole process from field to bottle. As farmers, we let nothing go to waste. We create energy from our bio-boiler, Huxley; powered by prunings from our apple orchards. Any potato waste is used to fertilise our fields or feed our herd of Hereford cattle.
  • Energy from renewable sources
  • Recycling (>75% of all waste)
  • Refillable cleaning products and toiletries
