Highfield is a farm, with beautiful views of open countryside overlooking the Wye Valley at the head of the Golden Valley. Large garden and private parking.
There are 2 large en-suite rooms 1 kingsize bed and 1 family room with a double and single bed which can also be a twin.
Breakfast menu includes a traditional English breakfast or one of Highfield’s specials made from locally sourced produce, homemade preserves and bread, and homegrown seasonal fruit.
Ideal place to stay to explore the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, as well as the market towns of Herefordshire and Mid Wales, Hay on Wye (the town of books) is 4 miles away. Walks available from the door.

We are on the B4348 at the Bage,1 mile from Dorstone 4 miles from Hay on Wye. If you are using sat-nav don’t go up Browns Lane we are on the main road.

We are 1 mile from Arthur’s Stone a multi-chambered tomb of the Neolithic period dating from between about 3700 and 2700 Bc. The views are marvellous and there is room for a picnic near the site.
