Lino Printing Workshop with Heather Riches Studio - The Nest

Many of us will remember potato printing at school to take home Christmas cards for Mum and Dad, if you’re after a new hobby that brings back that feeling of childhood nostalgia then this is for you! This workshop will provide you with the confidence to continue printing at home.

Start the day off right with an informal chat about your design ideas before jumping in to learn all about this creative printing technique. We recommend bringing design ideas or reference images with you so you’re not stumped with a mind blank! Throughout the day, Heather will teach you all about different methods and techniques for Lino-printing that you will be able to use.

Working from an A5 Lino block you’ll cut your own design and walk away from this workshop with the option greeting cards alongside your printing block for at-home creations.

What’s included? The workshop runs from 10 - 2.30pm costing £75 including: materials and equipment for the day, with refreshments provided throughout the day and lunch from The Nest - scheduled between 1.45 and 2.15.

The group size for this event will be limited to 8 people with a minimum of 5 required. Booking and payment in advance is required. Suitable for those over 16. Please make sure you are wearing appropriate studio clothes, overalls or aprons.
