Cobblers Holiday Cottage, Pembridge

The main entrance into the cottage is into a large sitting room. Furnished in light and airy colours, there are plenty of armchairs and a sofa together with a dining table and chairs and a digital TV and internet access. The house has gas central heating. There is also a wood-burning stove in the sitting room (logs supplied).

The hand-made bespoke kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, double oven electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine and many other utensils for the keen cook. Through the kitchen is a lovely garden room. It has a useful large cupboard for coats and boots and a small table for a tête-à-tête breakfast, as well as a sofa and other chairs.

Outside is a pretty garden with a table and chairs and a range of relaxing chairs and a summerhouse. Also, outside in an alleyway, between the parking and the garden room, is a small shelter – ideal for storing bicycles. Original stairs (which are therefore a bit wonky) lead to a large landing with a desk, books, games and a large comfy armchair. Off the landing is a fully renovated bathroom with a bath and shower. Towels are provided.

There are two bedrooms; a warm and cosy double and a large twin room. Both have plenty of storage and TVs. There is parking outside for 2 cars. Pembridge has several eateries, pubs and a small village shop within easy walking distance of the cottage.
