Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival - Concert 1
- 14th February
About This Event
The Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival 2026 starts off in style at the beautiful Bishop's Palace in Hereford. Our festival this year celebrates the influence of composers as teachers and mentors for the generations that followed them. This opening concert is a programme of sparkling wit and lyrical beauty—Salieri’s elegant counterpoint, Schubert’s restless intensity, Beethoven’s youthful brilliance, Liszt’s dark lyricism, and the joyful warmth of Schubert’s beloved ‘Trout’ Quintet.
