Woman’s wilderness weekends
From 16th May until 6th September
About This Event
Wye Knot Women’s Wilderness Adventures offer small, powerful, and truly transformative weekends designed to reconnect you with nature, courage, and community. Led by an elite team of female outdoor leaders, each retreat brings together expert guidance, fresh food, and immersive experiences on the beautiful River Wye.
Across two days, you’ll explore the water by paddleboard, learn essential bushcraft skills, cook farm-to-fire meals, and gather around the campfire for connection, reflection, and laughter. Group sizes are intentionally kept small — no more than ten women — to ensure personal support, safety, and the space to discover what you’re truly capable of. Whether you’re building confidence, seeking calm, or craving adventure, you’ll be held by a warm, encouraging community of women who want the same.
Your guides include the founder Rose Sales, senior instructor and RAF trainer Louise Lupo, and mountaineer and former GB athlete Annabel. At least two expert coaches support every retreat, ensuring every participant feels empowered, safe, and inspired. All equipment, food, and camping kit are included, and activities are tailored to meet you where you are — no experience needed. If river conditions are unsafe, paddle sessions will move to a nearby lake so the adventure continues safely.
This is more than a camping weekend. It’s a reset. A breath out. A place to rediscover strength, joy, and connection. Join us for a weekend that sells out every year — and leave with stories, friendships, and a spark that stays with you.
