Broome Farm

Broome Farm
Wellsbrook Lane, Peterstow
Ross-on-Wye
View location

A welcoming B&B and self-catering cabins in rural Herefordshire. Set in a quiet and relaxing location amongst 65 acres of apple and pear trees, the views are stunning especially at night where the lack of light pollution provides a wonderful opportunity for stargazing.

Broome Farm's award-winning cider business gives visitors the chance to walk through orchards which are particularly beautiful during blossom time. Later in the year, surrounded by the aroma of ripening apples, harvest time provides an opportunity to see the cider making process first hand and to sample the wide range of award winning ciders and perries produced on site. A sign-posted orchard walk with picnic benches and discovery boards has recently been installed to enable visitors to take a self-guided tour of the farm. Guided tours and cider tastings can also be booked.

The two first-floor B&B suites are cosy and comfortable. After a good night's sleep, a traditional and delicious breakfast will set you up for the day. The menu is varied using locally sourced ingredients and includes continental or full English breakfast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, homemade marmalade and jam, sometimes homemade butter and baked goodies.

The two self-catering cabins look out across the Front Orchard of historic apple and pear trees, and down across the Peterstow Valley basin where the Wellsbrook stream runs. Completed in 2025, these are lovely clean, modern spaces to stay with thoughtful décor and a well equipped kitchenette.
