Big Apple Harvestime

Various Locations around Much Marcle

Nine venues in and around Much Marcle open their doors to visitors to experience the apples, orchards and cider of the Herefordshire parishes of the Marcle Ridge.  With opportunities to set all your senses tingling - taste, smell, touch, sight and sound - this is a close up and personal way to get to know our apple heritage and what it means to those who live here today.  Walks, talks, music, practical skills - all sorts of activities to discover.  Cidermaking will be in full swing - there is a cidermaker in Much Marcle for so many different approaches to the art and science of cidermaking.  Not to mention perry, made in the sight of May Hill.  Feast your eyes and feast your tastebuds!  You can walk or cycle between many of the venues, and six of them are linked by a tractor and trailer ride.

Admission is free to all venues, other than Hellens where there is a small charge of £2.50 for adults (children go free).  Some timed events, including some free events, can be booked online to manage numbers.
