Hereford Guild of Mayor's Guides

Join the Guild of Guides on a walk around our ancient city. Our trained, volunteer Guides will bring its history to life with tales of its Saxon origins on the River Wye, its strategic importance for the Normans and their successors, and its prominent role in the English Civil War. You will see some of its Black and White heritage as well as Georgian and Victorian elegance and we'll introduce some colourful characters along the way.
