Inn on the Wye

In the heart of the Wye Valley, this traditional English country Inn, formerly a coaching house, overlooks the River Wye and ancient Goodrich Castle. It offers a bar, restaurant, function room and 12 ensuite bedrooms including a family suite.

Set in the midst of the beautiful natural countryside, The Inn on the Wye is just a short drive from the historic town of Ross on Wye. Symonds Yat and the Forest of Dean are popular places to visit in the area together with canoeing and fishing on the nearby river. We are dog friendly.

Light, modern dining areas are combined with cosy corners. The tasty food is complemented by a good wine list and well-kept real ales.

There are 6 rooms inside the hotel including a 3 bedroom family suite, four-poster bedrooms and some rooms that have a river or castle view. There are also 6 chalet style rooms outside that are directly accessed from the car park and very popular with guests who bring their dogs. All rooms are en suite.

We hold a civil license so are able to hold weddings and civil services together with hosting a wide variety of other events – birthday parties, christenings, baby showers, dinner and dances and large group bookings.
