The Museum contains artefacts from the prehistoric era through to the present day. Some notable areas include a scale model of the former railway station in Kington, and a room dedicated to the town's role in WW2, which included being home to a vast American military hospital. The Museum is staffed by friendly and helpful volunteers who are always willing to show visitors round. There is a good range of local history books for sale, plus a frequently refreshed secondhand book stall. There is something of interest for all ages! Opening times: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 10 - 4, April to November
