Lea House B&B

Lea House B&B

Andy and Sophie Evans invites you to come and stay in their family home, between Mitcheldean and Ross-on-Wye, where you will be offered a very warm welcome. Sophie was born in Guernsey in the Channel Islands, while Andy was born and bred in Ledbury, Herefordshire, moving to Guernsey in his twenties where he met and married Sophie and they had two children who have now flown the nest. They have now moved from Guernsey, returning to Andy's home county.

Lea House offers the same high standards in three well-appointed bedrooms. The décor is eclectic with pieces gathered from around the UK and Guernsey. We enjoy buying pieces from local craftsman championing the local talent that is evident. If you like any pieces on your stay we will happily arrange for you to make contact.

If you are coming on a walking or cycling trip we offer dry secure storage for bikes and boots and will happily provide you with the hose to wash down any muddy attire, collected from the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. Pets are also welcomed, with plenty of countryside available for exercising.

Good food is also an essential part of this household and guests will find the home-made food a real treat, all produce is sourced locally where possible and bread is homemade, as is our jam and granola. The B&B has in place the golden egg cup award, denoting an outstanding breakfast.
