The Market House
Ross-on-Wye
View location
This remarkably preserved 17th-century Market House is one of Ross-on-Wye’s most iconic historic landmarks. While the current sandstone structure dates back to the 1650s, its roots reach all the way back to the 12th Century when the town was first granted the right to hold a market. Today, that tradition is as vibrant as ever with markets still taking place every Thursday and Saturday. Upstairs you’ll find the Made In Ross gallery, a real treasure trove of local arts and crafts.
