The Boar Suite private first-floor suite comprises double bedroom, large bathroom, kitchenette. Restored as befits this C18th farmhouse; winding staircases, oak beams, no straight edges! Interiors nod to Georgian times: toile de jouy wallpaper, classic colours, with contemporary touches including TV, wifi, fridge. Free car parking, guests can also access some garden areas. Bring your racquets and tennis balls for a game of tennis on our full-size hard court.

Your meals

Breakfast is cooked on the AGA using locally sourced, home-made/-grown produce as much as possible. Typical breakfasts include bacon, egg, chipolata sausage, mushroom, toast, tea or coffee. Local award-winning food producers, farm shops/markets include Perrystone, our neighbouring estate, which rears delicious pork, beef and lamb. We make our own chutneys, jams, lemon curd, hummus. Nearby award-winning, popular pubs, restaurants, delis: the nearest includes The Moody Cow (3 min), The Alma Inn Linton (6), Westons Cider Mill (9), The Crown Inn Woolhope (11). In Ross on Wye itself (10), venues include The Royal Hotel, The Riverside Inn & Cafe, The King's Head, Avellino Italian Restaurant, Truffles Deli. Guests preferring a light option on arrival here, we offer a cold meat and cheese sharing platter, booked at time of room booking. All meals served in the Dining Room, log-burner blazing when chilly, or in the Conservatory overlooking Hay Bluff.
