Outdoor Ways

Outdoor Ways runs guided walking experiences in and around Herefordshire — from short riverside walks to full-day routes into the hills and valleys that make this county worth exploring.

We're based here, we know the routes well, and we care about the places we walk through. Our walks are carefully put together so that getting from A to B is the least of it — we want people to come away feeling like they've genuinely seen somewhere, not just walked through it.

Many walks start from accessible points, including Hereford city centre, so there's no need for a car. Routes vary in length and challenge — from gentle walks exploring the landscape and wildlife to proper days hiking the hills.

We also offer walk and tasting experiences in partnership with local Herefordshire producers — vineyards, cider makers and artisan food producers — combining a guided walk with an authentic taste of what the county does best. Private group walks are available for families, friends and small corporate groups, tailored to your route, pace and interests.

Outdoor Ways is a Community Interest Company. Any surplus we generate goes back into our mission of getting more people outdoors — including a community family walks programme for local families.
