St John's Methodist Church

Located in the historic heart of Hereford City St John's is the largest church in the Herefordshire South & East Circuit. We seek to reflect the love of God in our community and beyond, nurturing a vibrant life of worship and service.

Sunday Morning Worship

Join us every Sunday at 10:30am for our morning service. Services are led by our minister, a local preacher, or occasionally by members of our congregation supported by worship leaders. After our morning services, we share refreshments, and often cake! as we continue in fellowship.

Tea Church – 3rd Sunday of the Month

A relaxed, informal gathering in the church hall at 4:00pm, including a short service followed by afternoon tea with sandwiches and cakes.

Place of Welcome - Saturdays 10am

Open every Saturday from 10am to 12 noon, this is a space for everyone. Come in for free tea, coffee, toast, and friendly conversation. You'll find a listening ear, a warm atmosphere, and even help with things like form filling or being signposted to further support. We also have board games, toys, a computer, and a printer, so feel free to pop in and make yourself at home.

Twins & Tots - Tuesdays at 10am termtime

A supportive and friendly parent and carer group which welcomes twins, tots and all children aged 0-4 years. £1 donation per family.

St John's Methodist Church is situated on St Owen's Street, right in the historic heart of Hereford. It's easily accessible from the city centre.
