St Michael and All Angels Church Ledbury (Bells)

A three-year project in the stand-alone tower of Ledbury Church has had a number of very good outcomes.  Considerable improvements to access to all five levels of the tower mean that we can now conduct regular tours including a visit to the parapet with its panoramic views.  The bells have been restored and repaired and you can find out about their fascinating history as well as what exactly it is that bellringers do.  The exhibition on the ground floor covers every aspect of bellringing including a number of colourful stories involving local people.  The exhibition was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.  You can book a special 90 minute bellringing experience tour of the tower for a group of four.   Much more information can be found on our website: ledburybells.co.uk
