Wythall Estate Vineyard is set in the beautiful Wye Valley AONB near Ross-on-Wye. We planted our vineyard in 2010 with four grape varieties chosen to suit the climate and soil conditions. From these, we produce several award winning still and sparkling wines. It is here our vineyard benefits from a unique micro‑climate created by the surrounding undulating terrain which protects our vines from cold weather and ingeniously harnesses the warmth of the sun during the growing season.

Fruitful hedgerows and a meandering stream are important habitats for our native wildlife and the wider estate. The success of these is born out of our long-standing commitment to sustainability and biodiversity.

Our vineyard tours and tutored wine tastings take place on Saturdays from 20th March 2021. They begin with a walking tour of the Vineyard with Frank. He will talk about the grape varieties grown at Wythall Estate, the pruning methods used and explain about the vine management from planting through to harvesting. A tutored tasting will then take place in the dining room of the 16th century manor with Jamie, a truly unique experience. Jamie will talk guests through our range of wines in a relaxed and characterful setting. Each tour will have a maximum of 20 people and pre‑booking is required. Groups are welcome and group organisers should contact us by email to discuss available dates.
