Kington Autumn Walking Festival

Kington
-

Kington Walks will be holding our 12th Autumn Walking Festival in September offering an opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside around Kington and into the wild uplands of Wales.

We will be offering a wide range of led walks some covering specific areas of interest such as ancient trees, trains, art, photography and history. Lengths of walks will vary from a short couple of miles to hill walks of up to 14 miles with some fantastic views. As well as leading a walk, local artist, Kathryn Moore has devised a self led walk with the challenge of finding the locations of six of her paintings around walk one of Kington’s six Great Walks.

You won’t be short of things to do in the evenings with a free evening walk to Offa’s Dyke on the Wednesday evening, our very popular casserole evening on Thursday, a talk by the mountaineering, travel and outdoor writer, Jim Perrin and our band on the Saturday evening is Dave Luke and The Glimmer Twins playing songs of the Rolling Stones.
