Mappa Marches Exhibition

Hereford
-

Immerse yourself in gloriously colourful and moody landscapes, fantastical mythical creatures and intriguing contemporary sculpture…

The time has come to welcome you to the first venue in our Mappa Marches touring exhibition – HARC in Rotherwas Hereford – which you can view from 25 January. HARC is open from 10am to 3pm on Tuesdays to Thursdays. We’re excited to announce that actor, writer and comedian Miles Jupp – who lives in Herefordshire – will be joining us to say a few words at the celebratory launch of the exhibition on the evening of Friday 18 February. Sign up to our newsletter via the website to get an invitation…

The exhibition brings together a mixed discipline group of creatives, diverse yet connected through finding solace in place. The artworks hang and stand together in a joint celebration of the Welsh Marches landscape and lore.

You will see aerial films of the Rotherwas area as part of the display and explore what’s on offer at Herefordshire’s archive centre, holding most of the oldest maps in the region.
