About This Event
Experience medieval life as history comes alive on our South Lawns. From 11am, wander the encampment and discover how people lived, worked and ate centuries ago. Don't miss the archery display, or the arena showcases including 'From Peasant to Lord', 'All About Knights & Weapons'. The day will culminate in an afternoon skirmish for control of the castle!

Disabled Access:
The car park has a designated area for Blue Badge holders and the Visitor Centre has a large entrance door. The formal gardens are wheelchair accessible (80%) via either flagstone, gravel or wood chipped paths.
Disabled Facilities:
The Orangery Cafe is accessed across the South Lawns and has large entrance doors, including a ramp. The accessible toilet is located next to the Orangery Cafe.
