Castle House

Castle House is Hereford city's boutique hotel, owned and run by a local farming family. A Grade II listed villa, the hotel has 24 individually designed, luxury ensuite bedrooms, with 8 in a nearby Townhouse, Number 25. Situated in a quiet part of the city, yards from the historic cathedral, the hotel has a pretty 'secret' waterside garden with a new restaurant opening in 2021.
The Watkins family's Ballingham Hall farm's kitchen garden grows much fresh produce for the hotel's award-winning restaurant - a true Farm to Fork story here! Head Chef, Gabor Katona, liaises daily with Colin the gardener and trusted local producers when sourcing his seasonal menus.
Popular with locals and visitors alike, Castle House is well-known for being the best place in Hereford for a classic Afternoon Tea.
