Visit Frome Valley Vineyard for tours and tastings and a chance to enjoy the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Sipping some delicious wines in the walled Tudor to Georgian courtyard, curated usually by one of the family, is a sensational way to spend a summer afternoon. Tucked into a curve of the River Frome, you will see how grapes are grown in our climate and what is happening right now in the vineyard – the good and maybe the bad! Then back to the winery to sit back and enjoy the award-winning still and sparkling wines, brandy, ciders and perry.
The vineyard was planted more than 35 years ago and the wines reflect their maturity. The vineyard is run as sustainably as possible, using eg sheeps wool to mulch the rows, keep the weeds down, the moisture in and feed the vines all at the same time. The sheep also obligingly mow the vineyard in winter and fertilise it. Book now, and we’ll see you soon!
Entry Cost
Those under 18 are welcome and free but we cannot give them tastings, but we do have plenty of apple juice from our orchard.
If you'd just like some wine, give us a call to make sure we're there.

Caring For The Planet
As tanalised wooden posts rot away we replace with "eternal" metal posts; we use cardboard clips for the trellising where possible. We are eliminating the use of plastic; we strictly control our spraying and keep it as close to organic standards as possible. We generate electricity with photovoltaics and our heating is by biomass boiler.

The National Trust's small, moated manor house on the Brockhampton Estate, just outside Bromyard, is a jewel, with plenty of walks.
