The cottage is also ideally placed for you to experience canoeing along the Wye River, swimming in the River Monnow, or hiking on Offa’s Dyke or The Three Castles Way. Horse-riding, rock climbing, canoeing, fishing and caving are all within easy reach in the Wye Valley, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. The cottage is close to the Forest of Dean with its cycling paths, picnic sites, Sculpture Trail and family attractions such as Go Ape. A 20-minute drive away is the cathedral city of Hereford, and the market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, which host a variety of quality restaurants and independent shops.
