Bishops Frome
View location
Come and visit our vineyards, set amongst the orchards and hopyards of Herefordshire. Our grapes make award-winning wines and fizz (champagne method) and we'd love to share them with you. We are based in the beautiful, traditional 16th and 17th century farm buildings of Paunton. Bring your friends and relations for a lovely, relaxed afternoon out in rural Herefordshire.
Entry Cost
Tour and Tastings are £25 per person. Those under 18 are welcome and free but we cannot give them tastings. If you'd just like some wine, give us a call to make sure we're there.
Hours
We are open from April to September for tours and tastings. Join one of our regular sessions or call to make other arrangements. Please see our website for details.

Caring For The Planet
We have always been very conscious of our environmental footprint and tread as lightly as possible. In the vineyard, we are studying the use of biochar to fertilise and sequester carbon. We have had major success (eventually) using sheepswool to mulch the rows.
As tanalised wooden posts rot away we replace with "eternal" metal posts; we use cardboard clips for the trellising where possible. We are eliminating the use of plastic; we strictly control our spraying and keep it as close to organic standards as possible. We generate electricity with photovoltaics and our heating is by biomass boiler.

The Hop Pocket, just outside Bishops Frome, has a tremendous selection of food and drink made in Herefordshire.
The National Trust's small, moated manor house on the Brockhampton Estate, just outside Bromyard, is a jewel, with plenty of walks.
