CLAY SHOOTS @ ROWDEN ABBEY
- 20th March
About This Event
SHOOT DATES: Sat 3rd, Fri 23rd, Sat 24th January Sat 7th, Sat 21st February Sat 14th, Fri 20th March
Join us for an unforgettable day of simulated clays shooting in the stunning parkland of Rowden Abbey, near Bromyard. Woodland, valley and pasture drives make for a true country experience, with 3,000 eco-friendly clays across five varied drives. The day begins 9.30 am with breakfast rolls and a safety briefing, followed by morning and midday drives, then an afternoon competition. Guests enjoy tipples, nibbles and lunch between drives – including Prosecco, port, cider, lager and soft drinks.
After shooting concludes, relax by the fire in the Abbey’s grand dining room for a three-course early supper with wine, port and cheeseboard. Minimal walking is required between pegs, and a gator is available for ease of movement.
Bring two slabs of fibre-wad cartridges per gun. If you wish to bring your own loader, a £30/day fee applies. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Extend your experience with an overnight stay in one of the Abbey’s beautiful William Morris-inspired bedrooms, from £90 per night. Advance booking is essential.
