Guided Walks in Hereford - historic market city
From 29th June until 31st October
About This Event
Every day, April to October, our trained, volunteer Guides bring the history of our ancient city to life with tales of its Saxon origins on the River Wye, its strategic importance for the Normans and their successors, and its prominent role in the English Civil War. You will see some of its Black and White heritage, as well as Georgian and Victorian elegance, and we'll introduce some colourful characters along the way. We'll be pleased to welcome you, especially in this, our 45th anniversary year! We also offer Bespoke and Accessible walks, all year, on a variety of themes. Walks approximately 90 minutes duration. Please visit our website for more information.
