Museum Without Walls Treasure Hunt
- 23rd May
About This Event
As part of the Herefordshire Histories Festival, the Augmented Reality Museum Without Walls will stage an exciting historical treasure hunt on Saturday, May 23rd, between 10am and 4pm. Prizes will include food and drink vouchers from local businesses, and a glorious star prize: a specially-commissioned work of art from the hugely talented local artist in glass, Rana Dekki.
Participants simply need the Museum Without Walls app on their phone, and a form which they can collect on the day from St Mary's Church.
The Museum Without Walls is Ross’s virtual museum, which works through an app on a smart phone or tablet. All the answers to the treasure hunt are in the app, or at the twelve museum sites around the town. And, once the app is installed, it can be used again and again to show future visitors around the town’s past. Entry sheets can be collected from St Mary’s Church in Ross between 10am and 3pm. Completed sheets must be returned by 4pm. The links to download the app are on the Museum without Walls website: https://museumwithoutwalls.uk
There is no charge to take part or to download and use the app.
