About This Event

Exploring identity and defiance across the centuries, A Roaring Boy is a bold, new play from The Midlands’ hottest theatre company, Lost Cause. Robert Gough is the star boy player in Shakespeare’s company, famous for playing women onstage. But as his voice deepens, he faces a crisis that no costume change can fix. When he encounters a rebellious pickpocket with a secret, Robert is pulled into a world beyond the law and he’s forced to decide who he is when the applause ends.

Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and Herefordshire Community Foundation.
