The Cob at Montpelier

The Cob is a unique Cob house made from straw and lime render, supported by exposed Douglas Fir timbers and with a living roof. Situated 30m away from our 200 year old stone cottage, it stands alone amongst four acres of gardens and wild meadows.

Surround yourself in nature, enjoy sitting on the Verandah where you will see Red Kite and Buzzards overhead - you may even catch site of a Roe deer running through the meadows that back onto Brilley Wood. This is a place to take in the fresh air and totally relax at our luxury adult only Bed and Breakfast on the borders of England and Wales, close to Hay-on-wye.
