Tipton Hall Riding School

Tipton Hall Riding School is a BHS-approved, Herefordshire Council 5-Star Licensed equestrian centre in Tedstone Delamere, Herefordshire. We welcome both adults and children, complete beginners and experienced riders alike, into a friendly environment where the focus is always on enjoyment as much as learning. We believe riding and time spent with horses offers so much more than a lesson — it's exercise, fresh air, relaxation and genuine socialising. For children in particular, we've seen first-hand how it builds confidence, and it's known to be especially beneficial for those with learning difficulties. What truly sets us apart is our setting: this is a genuine, lived-in working farm, not a purpose-built riding centre, giving every lesson and hack a sense of authentic countryside life. With indoor and outdoor arenas, and miles of quiet farm tracks and bridleways leading straight from the yard, there's scope for every level, from a first-ever pony ride to a proper fast hack. You ride one of our own well-schooled horses, or bring your own to enjoy a change of scene on our land. All our coaches are BHS qualified, and above all, we teach with patience, warmth and care. You can stay too! On the same farm is Tedstone Log Cabins, our handcrafted, adults-only luxury retreat — spend your days riding or hacking through the countryside and evenings unwinding in your own private hot tub, making it a truly unique combination of equestrian holiday and romantic escape.
