Julian and Juliet established Jules Restaurant in 1985 and have been welcoming customers now for thirty five years and counting. In that time we have learned how important it is to create a warm, friendly atmosphere for everyone to enjoy and to provide interesting and consistently good food using wherever possible the finest locally sourced ingredients and serving it up in our own individual style.
So, how would we describe our style of food?
Fine country cooking would probably best sum it up; a fusion of classic flavours & modern style, always served up in generous amounts.
We have two basic principles - to use as much produce made here in Herefordshire as we can and if we can make it ourselves! And, we don’t buy it in!
For instance, we make our own 100% pure pork sausages, charcuterie & delicious faggots, home cured salmon & bacon, lots of delicious ice creams & sorbets, the different breads which features on all our menus and of course cakes, scones & pastries to go with morning coffee.
We have our own smokehouse on site for smoking fish, meat and cheese.
