Getting Here
The county less discovered!
Amongst our virtues is our location. We're blessed with rural landscapes and we're also very accessible to get to. In fact, it's surprising how many folk we know will love what they find and are within relatively easy reach but have yet to discover us!
Central location
Herefordshire lies on the border with Wales, hugged by the Malvern Hills and the Black Mountains. Yet it takes under two hours to drive here from Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford and Cardiff and perhaps add an hour for London and Manchester.
Motorway links
We’re close enough to the M5 and even have a short stretch of motorway ourselves, the M50, which takes you to Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury.

Herefordshire is a small county - only around 40 miles North/South and East/West. The county town of Hereford sits centrally, with the market towns like points on a clock; Leominster in the North, Ross-on-Wye to the south, Bromyard & Ledbury to the East and Hay-on-Wye, on the English/ Welsh border, to the West.
The A49 trunk road is the main North-South route, linking the towns of Ross-on-Wye, Hereford, and Leominster, then North towards Ludlow in Shropshire.
Traveling from Birmingham and the east, leave the M5 behind you as you head west into Herefordshire.
