Routes & Road Trips

Experience Herefordshire’s hidden beauty by car or bike. Each route serves up a unique slice of our culture: explore cider country, uncover the story of ley lines or get to know our heavenly black and white villages.

Cider Circuits

Celebrate Herefordshire’s favourite thirst-quencher by taking one of our three Cider Circuits. Each route takes in beautiful countryside and calls in at artisan cider makers for tastings, tours and orchard strolls. With recommendations for places to visit, eat and relax en route. Designed for cyclists, the circuits work equally well by car.

Take a magical road trip through our ancient landscapes touring lost castles, remote churches, early hillforts and pre-historic stones. The Watkins Way explores far-flung corners of the county, revealing hidden histories along the way. The route commemorates the discovery of ley lines 100 years ago by local man Alfred Watkins.
