CMYK Festival: Artist Talk with The Printed Peanut
About This Event
Louise works in a reconditioned barn near Abergavenny, where she spends her days creating paper cut outs, collages and digital illustrations for a variety of clients. In her spare time she creates products for her business The Printed Peanut, which she sells all over the world. She takes her inspiration from every day life around her, recording examples of wonderful graphics found on food packaging or interesting colour combinations on retro textiles. She loves people watching in cafes and scouting charity shops for vintage print ephemera and old children’s books. Her work showcases a variety of modern and traditional print techniques, from risograph to screen printing. All her products are made in the UK and use eco friendly materials wherever possible.
