Bill Evans Herefordshire Landscape Exhibition - Crumplebury
About This Event
Bill Evans' evocative landscapes have adorned the walls of Crumplebury and Green Cow Kitchens for a decade. Father of Crumplebury's founder, Joe Evans, Bill has been twice shortlisted for the John Moores Painting Prize in Liverpool, and has his work accepted by the Royal Western Academy Open Exhibition in Bristol. Now, he is showing 40 of his latest works at Crumplebury, a stone's throw from the studio he shares with his artist daughter Megan. Inspired by the landscape around him, Bill paints abstract oils depicting scenes from the estate and wider countryside, from the lane to Tedstone Delamere to Paradise Bank and the babbling Sapey Brook. Join us on April 2nd and 3rd for an Open House, between 10am and 4pm. The Drinking Trough will be open for drinks, and fine dining restaurant Green Cow Kitchens will be open for lunch.
