Storytelling Guided Walk with Special Guest Daniel Morden

Hereford

Come join us for an adventure on foot from Dorstone village in the Golden Valley up to a secret small mountain on a circular 7 mile route. Once at the top we should have nearly 360 views of the Wye Valley & the Black Mountains.

We will then be treated to a fantastical tale by Daniel about the tale of King Herla, one of the most fantastical medieval legends. Telling of a faerie encounter that ends on the banks of the river Wye in good old Herefordshire.

Daniel Morden has been a professional storyteller since 1989. He has travelled the world, collecting and telling traditional stories. He has a huge repertoire, from timeless Greek myths and thrilling adventures to awful jokes. He has given the Opening Address at Sydney Writers Festival, won awards for his books and was recently awarded The Hay Festival Medal. We will take our time and the route will have  plenty of views to admire along the way.

Although its 7 miles, we will be breaking for lunch & our story halfway, and therefore it should be achievable for most people with an average level of fitness.

Bring a picnic, binoculars, and your curiosity!

There are limited spaces available, so please book as soon as you can not to miss out.
