SUMMER FETE with 115th Anniversary of the Morgan Car - Stoke Lacy Church - Bromyard

Summer Fete and 115th Anniversary. 

Morgan and other antique, vintage and classic car owners meet alongside the church where members of the Morgan family are commemorated in stained glass windows and in the graveyard. 

Acknowledging the Morgan family interest in motorbikes the cars will be also joined by motorbikes from past eras where they too will display their glorious history. The Morgan family famously held a Flower Show in the village every year (there is a field named Flower Show Meadow). 

This year the flower show will be revived with exhibits of garden vegetables and fruit, flowers and floral displays, cakes and jams plus an art and photography section. Join in the fun in this friendly show. 

Entry Forms are available from John Davies (see below) Submit show entry forms (preferably by 8th August, if possible, to the church porch or on Show Day 10th from 8am to 9.45am) 

The show entrance fees will be charged on show day when you bring your exhibits. So you can bask further in our traditions Morris Men will be on hand to entertain plus the excellent Worcester Ukulele Band. 

There will be a range of stalls and activities for the whole family from skittles to inflatable toys and plants to bric-a-brac and books. 

Burgers, bacon butties, tea and cakes and ices a plenty plus a licensed Bar will all be available.
