About This Event
Overview:
The emphasis will be on producing effective and creative images developed during a photo walk in an AONB as well as within a professional studio. You will be fully tutored through practical exercises in order to help you develop your confidence and skills.
Experience level:
Due to the guided practice and practical demonstrations offered throughout the course, it is suitable for beginners to improvers.
About the tutor:
The course will be led by Sharon Brookes who is the proprietor and lead tutor of Backbury House Retreats. She has a degree in Art, is a practising artist photographer as well as a fully qualified art teacher with nearly 30 years’ experience of teaching in a range of educational settings.
The Course Timings:
Saturday-Sunday, 10:30am to 3:30pm on each day.
During the flora and fauna photography course, you will:
- Depending on experience level, you will learn/review the basics of how to shoot in manual mode and how to adjust camera settings.
- Develop your technical ability and confidence to be able to shoot effectively in different lighting conditions and environments.
- Experiment with creative approaches which deliver effective and more interesting results.
- Encourage an interest or renewed vigour for photography.
