Creative Juice: Little Sips - Ancient Clay Creations

Step back in time and get hands-on with history in Ancient Clay Creations! In this creative workshop, with only a small group of young artists, we will explore fascinating ancient civilizations while crafting our own artifacts using air-dry clay. Inspired by cultures such as the Romans, the Greeks and ancient Eastern civilizations, participants will design and shape their own pots, tiles or decorative objects.
With plenty of reference images and visual inspiration to spark ideas, children will look at patterns, symbols and forms used throughout history, then bring their creations to life with texture and detail. This workshop encourages imagination, creativity and curiosity about the past, all in a fun and relaxed environment.
Participants will take home their creations together with a few pots of paint to decorate them when completely dry later on in the week!
All materials and aprons provided
