Design a Heraldic Shield
- 29th July
About This Event
Young makers can craft and decorate their own shield using bold colours, symbols and patterns inspired by real medieval designs. Along the way, they’ll learn what different shapes, animals and colours meant in the Middle Ages, and how people once used heraldry to tell stories about their families, achievements and skills. A creative, imaginative activity perfect for curious minds and budding medieval heroes!
